Water and sustainable development were the leitmotifs of Expo Zaragoza 2008. Based on these two ideas, Interacting with Water was conceived as a participatory and interactive project to divert the visitors and stimulate their creativity.
Two big screens equipped with motion and touch detectors constitute the panels on which virtual water flows following the body movements of people standing before them. As the body moves, a series of spots reproducing the liquid structure of water are generated, moved and transformed according to the visitors’ motion speed, intensity and direction. Amusing and relaxing at the same time, Interacting with Water is an experience of what we may call “water dance”.
