How do we interact?

A 1hour workshop to experience with different objects and machines, reflect and learn about interaction and its properties to learn to be critical about technology.

The aim of the project is to raise critical awareness towards technology among young children from 14 to 18 years old. Interaction with computers and machinery is getting more and more constant in our daily lives but, can we tell whether the interaction is being effective and actually making our live easier? In this 1 hour workshop, children experience with different objects, machines and interfaces which make them reflect and learn about interaction and its properties, raising questions such as: What is an interface? When is it well designed? What is usability? What is a mental model? etc.
